It is basically a two player strategy game where the main objective is to control more territory than your rival. It has been played extensively in Asia and has modulated the minds of thousands of Asian citizens.
During the Vietnam War, it is said that the communist generals based their strategy on the control of territory as they had learned playing GO. However, US military strategists based their strategy on a checkmate typical of the game of chess…historical curiosities of how our way of playing modulates our minds.
