Antique chest made of solid pine wood using the dovetail technique.
Our antique black trunk is a dark brown/black color. It is currently very difficult to find this type of antique chest in such an excellent state of preservation. The two original hinges that open the chest are preserved intact, as are the two handles that were used to raise the antique trunk into carriages.
Regarding the construction of this wooden trunk, we highlight its coveted “dovetail” assembly, characteristic of past times when the use of glue was practically non-existent.
We love its distinctive patina with brown and black tones that match the golden color of the original wood.
