Low coffee table in solid elm wood (c.1870).
This antique coffee table is estimated to be 150 years old. Built with solid elm wood, it preserves the original joinery of the time. We have several pieces with similar dimensions, each different, each a unique, one of a kind antique table. Each piece has been recovered with various restoration processes. Some antique tables still had remains of previous paintings. Some tables found were in perfect condition and only beeswax has been applied to revitalize the pores of the solid elm wood and thus enable it to endure another hundred years of life. It has been a work of many months to search out a selection of antique side tables and then only choose the best pieces. Each side table is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of time.
