Antique work table with solid wood legs (Austria, c.1930).
This antique work table is estimated to be 90 years old. Initially built as a kitchen work table, it was in fact used for the production of classic German sausages. Later and with the passage of time, the legs were cut and it was reused as a coffee table for a dining room or terrace.
Our wooden coffee table has the ideal dimensions for use as a living room coffee table. It was found in perfect condition and only beeswax was been applied to the solid wood parts to rill the pores of the wood thus enabling the table to withstand another hundred years of life.
Each antique table is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of time.
