Small Japanese kodansu furniture from the early Taishō-Showa period (c. 1915-1945), made of solid sugi (Japanese cedar) wood with original patina and wrought iron handles.

Its functional structure features a removable front door that protects several interior compartments, as well as a lower drawer for additional storage. This typology was used to store documents, writing utensils and personal items in traditional homes and small businesses.

An authentic piece with wabi-sabi charm, perfect for contemporary japandi interiors or 20th century Japanese furniture collections.
