The cabinet features two upper sliding doors, allowing flexible access to the interior space, along with three lower drawers for more precise organization of personal items or textiles. It is primarily crafted from paulownia, valued for its light weight and dimensional stability, reinforced with Japanese cedar in structural areas.

The original metal hardware, discreet and functional, enhances the practical character of the piece. The surface displays a warm, natural patina, with signs of use consistent with its age, adding depth and authenticity.
