Antique decorative bench in green with backrest and seat storage space (Hungary, c.1920)
We found this green antique bench with backrest and large storage capacity in Hungary. Possibly from the 1920s, it was used as a bench at the entrance of a large town house.
Our antique decorative bench was handcrafted from solid pine wood. The passage of time has marked the furniture with cracks, scratches and small bumps that give it its unique character.
The initial paint in two shades of green has evolved from the original up to the current time, creating a unique patina of various green tones.
We like it for its distinctive green patina and its special soft shapes… unparalleled.
