Our original idea was to rebuild several examples of reclaimed wood benches from an original antique bench. For this project we selected a batch of solid elm wood that is over a hundred years old. We found a small batch of wood in a perfect state of preservation, with its cracks and knots.
With all the effort put into highlighting the original textures of the antique wood, we have managed to rebuild several long benches of approximately 180 cm. Each bench has similar dimensions, however, each one has different thicknesses, whimsical textures and particular shapes.
Each reclaimed wood bench has been handcrafted, piece by piece. In the first stage, careful work to recover the antique wood has been necessary. Subsequently, the antique wooden pieces in the best condition have been selected to begin the process of building each entrance bench by hand.

There are endless places to add a natural wood bench like the ones we propose. We imagine it as a entrance bench in a spacious hall.
It can also be used as a bedside bench for your daily use. Its ancient, rustic and at the same time sober appearance is ideal as a decoration element in any room: in the bathroom and even in the dining room. The timeless character of wood allows you to play with existing combinations, and it can combine with modern spaces as well as more rustic spaces.
