Description
Antique chest of drawers made of birch wood hand-built by local artisans from the Aragonese Pyrenees area. This antique chest of drawers has been meticulously restored as it was originally found with a coat of varnish. It is built with solid birch wood . The closures were changed to the current clamshell-shaped closures, since the original closures the few that remained were rusted. Its straight and proportional shape stands out, with proportions that make it timeless. It is made up of 5 drawers in total, three wide drawers and two smaller drawers in the upper part of the chest of drawers. Having drawers with various dimensions makes this antique chest of drawers very useful for storing objects of different sizes.
Instead of applying a second coat of varnish, this antique piece of furniture has been left stripped to show off the color of natural solid birch wood. In the photos of this wooden chest of drawers, you can see the detail of the stripped wood.
