Small Japanese drawer cabinet made during the Shōwa period, circa 1926–1945. This compact storage piece was designed for domestic use, ideal for storing documents, personal items or small desk accessories.
The cabinet combines Japanese ash on the drawer fronts, valued for its strength and distinctive grain, with paulowniaand Japanese cedar in the internal structure, achieving a balance between durability and lightness. It features three front drawers, one of which retains its original lock.
