Description
Antique wood console table for a home hall.
This vintage console table is built from antique reclaimed wood that is over 100 years old.
From a selection of different lots of solid old elm wood, we devised the project of the construction of a console table to be used as a hall table. As a prototype of the project, we chose an antique console table from the beginning of the 20th century and replicated its dimensions and fittings.
The quality of the centenary wood provides a romantic and vintage effect to the furniture that has endured over time. We carefully select each plank of wood, emphasizing the character of the existing knots and cracks.
Our goal is always to maintain the original essence of antique wood and for that reason we apply a general stripping process. With this process, the vivid color of the wood comes back to light and rejuvenates the furniture. The last step in the construction of this hall table was the application of beeswax to fill and protect the pores of the solid wood and thus enable it to withstand a hundred more years of life.
Each piece is unique, with the own imperfections of the antique reclaimed wood and its fortuitous wounds from the passage of time.

We also recommend our antique trunks and our antique benches as a perfect companion.
