Description

Large Antique Solid Wood Cutting Board (France, c.1920)

Our old rectangular cutting board was formerly used as a work table to prepare various foods. It is estimated to be 100 years old . It was recovered from an old castle in France.

This old wooden cutting board is rectangular in shape, 81 cm long and 36 cm wide with a handle to work better. It was recovered in a perfect state of preservation.

Like one of our wooden sideboards made of pine wood, pine wood is very resistant over the years and its centenary wood requires very little maintenance. Pine wood was ideal for the construction of kitchen utensils such as trays, cheese boards, cutting boards and wooden bowls.

We love the color of solid wood as well as its imperfections created over time … inimitable.
