Description
Small antique solid wood cheese board (France, c.1920).
Our small rectangular shaped antique cutting board was formerly used as a work table to prepare various foods. It is estimated to be 100 years old, and was recovered from an old house in France.
This solid pine wood antique cheese board is rectangular in shape and small in size. It is 41cm long and 24cm wide with a handle for easier usage. It was recovered in a perfect state of preservation.
As in one of our wooden sideboards made of pine wood, pine wood is very resistant over the years and requires very little maintenance. Pine wood was ideal for the construction of kitchen utensils such as trays, cheese boards, cutting boards and wooden bowls.
We love the colour of solid wood on this piece as well as its irreplicable imperfections created over time.
