— HISTORIC NOTE —
The blown glass technique is a manufacturing technique that dates back to the 1st century BC.
It is characterized by using the soap bubble method, that is, bubbles are created in the raw material of the glass. The bubbles are created by literally blowing the molten glass and working it into the shape with various metal tools until the desired shape is achieved.
With the use of different minerals and chemical compounds, different colors and characteristics are achieved.
Currently there are few companies able to continue to use this type of manufacturing due to the cost and difficulty involved.
This antique glass vase can continue to be used as a food storage vase or as a decorative glass vase in any of your favorite spaces.
Our antique vases are unique pieces specially selected to be part of timeless spaces and combine perfectly with one of our sideboards and antique cabinets .
