Antique solid wood restored sideboard (c.1860).
Oriental style piece recovered and restored with the application of a red lacquer.
Estimated age of about 160 years (construction date: around 1860). On this handcrafted restored sideboard the floral still life designs in silver colors stand out, combining perfectly with the red color of the patina. This oriental sideboard is made of solid pine wood and comes from the Northeast provinces of China.
It maintains the original illustrations on the front of the doors with a high degree of preservation. The restoration process included the restoration of the original red patina, and except for some imperfections and bumps due to the passage of time, its state of conservation is optimal. Built with solid pine wood, it is composed of a pair of doors. During the restoration process, small magnets were added to facilitate the closing of the two doors.
