Round antique wooden stool in natural wood colour.
We have several antique elm wood stools available from various ages, some of them estimated to be around 150 years old. Built with solid elm wood, they preserve the original assembly of the time. After an arduous collection and selection process, we obtained several examples of round wooden stools with similar dimensions, although no two pieces are the same.
Each antique stool has been individually restored based on its needs. Some antique stools preserved remains of earlier paintings, while some unique pieces were found in perfect condition and it was only necessary to apply beeswax to fill the pores of the solid elm wood and thus enable endurance of another hundred years of life.
In many cases, each round solid wood stool has been stripped to bring back the natural wood color. Each wooden stool is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of past hundred years life. We hope you love them as much as we do…
