Antique stool approximately 25 cm high made of solid elm wood (c.1900).
We have several antique rectangular wooden stools available. Each antique stool is different in age, some of them more than 120 years old. It has been months of searching and a lot of collection and selection work to recover several examples of medium-sized solid wood stools. All of them are of different dimensions, although they are approximately 25 cm high.
Each rustic wooden stool has been individually restored based on your needs. Most of the antique stools found were built with solid elm wood, and retain the original assembly of the time.
To our knowledge, many of these ancient medium stools were used as work stools in factories and workshops, and still had traces of earlier paintings. In these cases, we have proceeded to a stripping to recover the original natural wood color. We have found several of these unique pieces in perfect condition and it was only necessary to apply a waxing with beeswax to cover the pores of the solid elm wood surfaces so they can endure a hundred more years of life.
Each wooden stool is unique, each one has its bumps, its own imperfections and cracks that have accumulated over time, as if it were the diary of his life.
