Antique natural wood stool of rectangular shape made of solid elm wood.
We have managed to put together a small collection of antique natural wood stools. Constructed of solid elm wood, with the original joinery of the time preserved. It has been an enormous work of collection and selection to finally compile several examples of antique rectangular stools, each of similar dimensions with no two pieces alike. Each antique rustic stool has been individually restored based on its needs. Some of them still had traces of earlier paintings. We have also found some of our rustic stools in perfect condition and it has been only necessary to apply beeswax to protect and fill the pores of the solid elm wood so we wish they can withstand a hundred more years of life. In many cases, each rectangular stool has required a partial stripping process in some areas to restore the natural wood color. Each wooden stool is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of time.
