– HISTORICAL NOTE – China has been for many centuries a reference in the manufacture of vases and articles made of ceramics. Porcelain vases, which were appreciated in high European royal spheres as a symbol of status and power, became especially famous. Ceramics per se are known worldwide, although the details of the manufacture and especially the distinction between different qualities of ceramics remain quite unknown to the public. In general, two large groups can be distinguished: low-temperature firing ceramics and high-temperature firing ceramics. Porcelain is the example of high temperature firing that begins to cook from 1000 degrees. On the other hand, ceramics composed basically of clay are fired from 400 degrees and do not have the hardness that porcelain can have. For this reason, low-temperature ceramics have had a basically ornamental use. This decorative vase was made with the desire to attract the good omens of happiness and joy to your home.
