Our antique dark colored Chinese cabinet is made of solid wood and retains the original black patina.
This type of cabinets used to be produced in pairs, and were part of the dowry that the woman gave in marriage to her future husband.
We recovered it from an old house in central China and it has been painstakingly restored using the craft techniques of the past.
The structure of this antique Chinese cabinet has two large doors that give a very large space for storing all kinds of clothes and accessories. You also have two drawers in the lower part, ideal as decorative elements of this unique piece as well as very useful for today’s daily life.
We particularly like the cabinet carpentry work at the bottom of the cabinet…inimitable.
