Japanese tansu storage cabinet made in the early 20th century, during the transition from the Meiji to the Taishō period. Originally intended for domestic use, this piece combines multiple storage solutions within a compact and functional structure.

The cabinet features a thoughtful arrangement of sliding and hinged doors alongside a series of front drawers, allowing for practical and flexible organization. The solid wood construction displays a warm, well-aged patina that highlights the natural grain and the marks of time.

Recessed metal hardware, simple and understated, reflects the Japanese design philosophy of functionality and restraint. A versatile piece suitable as a sideboard, storage cabinet or accent furniture in contemporary, minimalist or wabi-sabi interiors.

The state of conservation is optimal, except for the characteristic imperfections of any antique produced by the passage of time.

Give a point of originality to your home with a unique piece, which merges with the contemporary style bringing personality to your home. This antique Japanese cabinet can be combined with any of our kitchen islands or with our available antique vases.
