Antique wicker basket with solid elm wood handle (China, c.1900).
Our wicker basket was formerly used as a work basket for agricultural tasks such as harvesting rice. It has an estimated age of about 120 years. It was recovered from an old house in China.
This antique wicker basket has a cylindrical shape and a wooden handle to move and transport it better. It was recovered in a perfect state of preservation.
We love the wicker craftsmanship … inimitable.
